We are excited to share that American Exchange will be at the 340B Grantees Spring Conference in Houston this May, both as a benefactor and as a speaker. Hosted by RWC-340B and conference partners at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Houston from May 28–30, 2026, this is one of the most important annual gatherings for Ryan White Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers and the broader community of 340B grantees working to expand access for the patients who need it most.
For our team, the conference is a chance to sit with the covered entities we serve, to hear what is working, what is not, and where the next round of policy turbulence is going to land. Grantees today face mounting pressure to expand access, improve outcomes, and preserve scarce resources in the face of persistent coverage gaps. Premium Insurance Assistance Programs offer one sustainable strategy to help eligible uninsured and underinsured patients enroll in and maintain comprehensive health coverage by subsidizing premiums and related costs.
This session will provide a practical, non-commercial overview of how PIAPs work, which patient populations benefit most, and how grantees can design assistance programs that align with their mission, comply with regulatory requirements, and support long-term access to care. Using real-world case examples from covered entities, the speakers will discuss program design, workflows, funding and compliance considerations, and lessons learned — concrete tools attendees can use to evaluate whether a premium assistance strategy is right for their organization.
