CEO of American Exchange has pledged to support pathways to prosperity for Tennessee’s most deserving students

Posted 11/19/2020

A degree is meant to be a ticket out of poverty…and yet, well over half of our first-generation college students are finding themselves in debt and underemployed after college.

Parachute Bridge is working to meet the needs of Persist Nashville students by proving our Career development services for FREE.

But we can’t do it alone. We need the support of people like you.

Today, we announce great news- a generous cornerstone investment from
Bobby Huffaker, the CEO of American Exchange. He has pledged to support our nonprofit in creating pathways to prosperity for Tennessee’s most deserving students.

I am simultaneously ecstatic and humbled by Mr. Huffaker and his gift. We feel a great sense of responsibility.

Those of us that made it to the other side of college and have made a life for ourselves have a responsibility to restore the promise of college and the American dream.

Parachute Bridge admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other school-administered programs.
